Start from a recipe

Step 1: Who
You sign as the principal. The agent is the address you grant to; it signs the actions.

Step 2: Scopes
What the agent may do, each as product:verb(limits). Strict verifiers reject scopes they do not know. Scope grammar (opens in a new tab)
Step 3: Expiry
It ends 7 days after you sign. Revoke it any time before.
Step 4: Private scopes
Optional. Relays see ciphertext; only the agent and the verifiers you add can read the scopes. A verifier without a key fails closed.
Step 5: Bond
Optional. Point at an OC Attest attestation of coins you keep unspent. A verifier that weighs stake re-checks it against the chain; this site shows it as declared. The coins never move.

Step 6: Check and sign
Your wallet signs the id of the canonical message below. Then the delegation is saved here and published to Nostr.
